My Buff Orpington ducks have started laying (well - one of them has), and my lone Muscovy has also joined in.
This means I get 1 or 2 duck eggs every day. They are a pale beige in color. The Buff eggs are slightly narrower than a chicken egg. The white of the egg is a very pale white, like an arctic white. The yolk is brilliant yellow. The taste is creamy, and perhaps more “eggy”. They are my favourite for a snack or with breakfast.
